Comprehensive Pelvic Floor Care
What is Integrative Pelvic Health?
Integrative Pelvic health is much more than just “Kegels.” It’s a comprehensive approach to caring for the pelvic floor and the systems that influence how it functions, looking at the whole person rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
When the pelvic floor isn’t functioning optimally, it can affect bladder and bowel control, core stability, movement, comfort, sexual function, and intimacy. Its function is closely influenced by other factors like hormones, the nervous system, breathing patterns, posture, mobility, lifestyle, and overall health.
Integrative pelvic health brings these pieces together to better understand why symptoms are happening, not just how to manage them.
